VroomTours Norte Legendario: A Week of Roads, Mountains, and Memories

There’s something special about the moment a trip truly begins—not when you book it, not even when you pack—but when your feet hit foreign ground and the adventure finally feels real. For us, that moment came on Friday 13th March, as we landed in Bilbao, buzzing with anticipation for what would become an unforgettable VroomTour through northern Spain.

Waiting for us was the first key piece of the puzzle: our cars. Seamlessly transported from the UK by PGVM, they were ready and waiting, lined up and set for the journey ahead. With keys in hand and engines fired up, the excitement shifted into gear immediately.

Saturday morning, we pointed our convoy west and set off toward Oviedo. The drive itself was a perfect introduction to what the week had in store—sweeping roads, rolling landscapes, and that unmistakable sense of freedom that only a proper road trip can deliver. As we arrived in Oviedo, it became our basecamp for the days ahead, a gateway to some of the best driving roads northern Spain has to offer.

And that’s where the magic really happened.

The days that followed were all about the mountains. Endless ribbons of tarmac carved through dramatic landscapes, each route offering something different—tight technical sections, fast open stretches, and views that demanded you stop, step out, and just take it all in. Every drive felt like a new discovery, every corner another reason to fall in love with the region.

It wasn’t just about the roads, though. It was about the shared experience—the early starts, the post-drive debriefs, the laughter, the stories, and the growing bond between everyone on the tour. There’s a unique connection that forms when a group of like-minded people come together with a shared passion, and by the end of the week, it felt like far more than just a trip.

All too soon, Wednesday arrived, and it was time to make our way back to Bilbao. One final drive, one last chance to soak it all in. Back in the city, PGVM once again took care of everything, collecting the cars and ensuring they were safely on their way home.

Thursday morning came around quickly. Bags packed, flights boarded, and just like that, the VroomTour Norte Legendario came to an end.

But as always, it’s never really the end.

Because the roads we drove, the places we explored, and the memories we made—those stay with us. And if anything, they leave us all thinking the same thing:
